Welcome from our Principal
Welcome to Yowie Bay Public School. It is with great pride and a deep sense of honour that I serve as the Principal of this exceptional school. With 34 years of experience as an educator in New South Wales schools, I have had the privilege of working across various communities, including Campbelltown, Bankstown, Wollongong, and Sutherland Shire. I joined Yowie Bay at the start of 2024, and I am excited to be part of a school that offers a unique and excellent educational experience for all of our students. Yowie Bay Public School is committed to equipping our students with the skills, knowledge, and values they need to thrive in an ever-changing and dynamic world.
At Yowie Bay Public School, we understand that success comes in many forms. We are proud to offer a well-rounded education that combines strong academic programs, rich extracurricular activities, and a firm focus on student well-being. Holistic education is at the heart of everything we do, ensuring that we nurture every student’s intellectual, emotional, and social growth. Aligned with the Department of Education's well-being values of 'Connect, Succeed, Thrive,' we are dedicated to helping every child achieve their personal best, both inside and outside the classroom, while also preparing them to make meaningful contributions to their communities.
We take pride in knowing each of our students individually. By working closely with families and tailoring our approach to meet each child’s needs, we ensure that all of our students are supported in their journey toward success. Whether they are excelling academically, exploring their creative talents, or developing social-emotional skills, we are committed to their overall growth and well-being.
I encourage you to visit us in person to experience the warm and welcoming atmosphere of Yowie Bay Public School. You will have the opportunity to meet our dedicated staff and engage with some of our amazing students. We look forward to welcoming you into our school community, where every child is known, valued, and cared for.
