One of our wonderful Performing Band members performed at the Sydney Opera House with the South East Sydney Symphonic Wind Orchestra!
The band will next perform at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in November.

A wonderful morning was had for our annual Open Day and Book Week celebrations. We had amazing performances from our band and dancers followed by the book week parade with so many awesome costumes.
The Year 5 Homebush Dance Sport group are all dressed and ready to jive, salsa, tango and cha cha at tonight’s gala! We are so proud of how hard they have worked to learn their dances, and the respect they all show towards their partners
Stage 3 participated in the Cronulla Sharks One Heart program. It focused on diversity, inclusion and racism. We appreciate the Cronulla Sharks supporting our school community on such important matters for these young men and women
Our first Justum Tene Challenge reflection journals being brought in to school! Everyone is working so hard to become the best version of themselves!
Students proudly represented Yowie Bay PS at the primary schools division interschools chess competition. After many hard fought battles, we were able to place 3rd overall, qualifying us for the semi finals in Term 3. Well done!
We had a wonderful time celebrating Harmony Day and created our very own harmony garden filled with hearts and painted stones to represent how we all play a part in creating something special and making everyone feel welcome, safe and respected in our school.
Our very first Easter Show! Hopefully this will be the start of a wonderful tradition for Yowie Bay PS. Our amazing pumpkins will be featured in the Flower and Garden Show pavilion.
Lots of fun was had this morning at the Easter hat parade The sun was shining and it was great to see all of the fabulous decorated hats.
A moving tribute from our students and leaders as they marched with their school at dawn for Anzac Day. A beautiful example of remembrance and respect.
